The Unity 202 is WEGENER’s 2nd generation of economical, high performance satellite music receiver targeted to meet the needs of the private business music market. Its programmable storage capability ensures continuous, reliable service for regional ad insertions and automatic loss-of-signal music playout. MPEG layer II decoding provides automatic selection of stereo, joint stereo or mono audio on the decoder based on network encoder operation. In addition, audio sampling rates (32, 44.1 and 48 KHz) and data rates from 64-256 Kbps in 64 Kbps steps are supported. The COMPEL network control package for music networks allows Unity 202s to be controlled as individual sites or groups. It can be used to strategically schedule customized programming and commercials insertions for multiple markets. Allow multiple regional users limited access to control portions of the network via an Internet web browser interface. Offer maximum disaster recovery protection by combining commands to store music on the Unity 202 and satellite retunes.
