The BXTS7059 single board computer from Trenton Systems is a single-processor PICMG 1.3 SBC featuring an intel xeon E5-2400 v2 processor with built-in native support for PCI Express 3.0 I/O cards. This single board computer supports DDR3-1600 Mini-DIMMs and a maximum system memory capacity of up to 24GB, along with SAS and SATA/600 ports, multiple I/O and communication interfaces including PCI Express 3.0.

The SBC’s flexible I/O system design is driven by the PCI Express 3.0 processor links and the intel C604 platform controller hub (PCH). The external I/O card interfaces adapt to PCI express 3.0, PCIe 2.1/2.0 and PCIe 1.1 plug-in cards with either a x16, x8, x4 or x1 PCI express edge connector.

The three-channel, DDR3-1600 memory interface on CPU0 feature the latest DDR3 Mini-DIMM technology, while the SBC’s three gigabit ethernet LAN interfaces and the choice of an alternate backplane LAN or cable LAN interface ease many system communication challenges. The SBC backer plate design enhances system stability while providing additional component protection.
