Built on the proven RM Maths software already used by thousands of UK schools RM Easimaths is proven to raise standards in maths. With its "little and often" approach - 10 to 15 minutes a day, 3 to 5 days a week - it is guaranteed to deliver tangible improvements, boost pupil confidence and maintain and grow enthusiasm for numeracy.
Early intervention
Based on the premise of "the early bird catches the worm", RM Easimaths enables teachers to identify pupils that are showing signs of numeracy difficulties at a very early stage.
Reporting
Meaningful and objective reporting provides teachers with all the information and data they need to develop targeted planning to support specific learning interventions. The automatic collection of data on student's progress underpins the reporting functionality in RM Easimaths.
Weaknesses and common difficulties can be identified at individual, group or whole class level and addressed accordingly. Easy-to-access reports enable regular review and effective monitoring of pupils' progress.
Personalised learning
RM Easimaths RM Easimaths is designed to support both pupils who are struggling with maths as well as to challenge those who are more able. By matching difficulty levels to pupil's progress and ability, it enables them to stay on task. Activities are reproduced in different ways to help pupils understand difficult concepts; existing maths skills are kept "simmering" in the background whilst pupils move on to new maths concepts, RM Easimaths also rewards successful completion of activities with an end of session game, to keep pupils coming back for more.
Diagnosis
RM Easimaths has its own built-in diagnostics that run continuously, capturing critical data on individual performance. This data in turn determines which exercises and materials are selected. Depending on individual progress the level of difficulty is increased or decreased as applicable to make sure a pupil continues to work at an 80% success rate. This is all about keeping the learner motivated and engaged, because, as we all know, success breeds success.
