CD-DAP is a modular digital audio processor designed to work in a CD Series frame. It analyzes and processes power characteristics of embedded audio signal in SD-SDI; therefore, it offers dynamic processing for the audio signal, including compression, limit, expansion and gain trimming. CD-DAP provides one SD-SDI inputs with embedded audio (PGM IN) and two SD-SDI outputs. It performs de-embedding, characteristic analysis, dynamic control, enhancement and embedding of the main program input channel (PGM IN). PGM IN channel supports by-pass protection, which ensures the program to be output without any interruption even when power is off. The by-pass protection can be activated through the control panel or GPI triggering. Automatic cable equalization is up to 1000 ft (about 300 m).
- Compliant with ITU-R BS.1770-3, Algorithms to measure audio programme loudness and true-peak audio level (support dual channels and all 8 channels, not support 5.1 channels) Analyzes and processes power characteristic of audio signal
