The Outboard Effect Box has been designed to make this operation easier and quicker by permitting only one connector to disconnect the two units while maintaining each time the same wiring originally selected between the Mixer and the Effects Rack. The 2RU front panel is equipped with a multipin LK connector, EEC 16A plug and bipolar magneto-thermal switch. The back panel is equipped with 24 or 48 balanced stereo Jacks and an EEC 16A socket. The LK connector and the Jacks are PCB mounted and connected (in groups of 8 channels) by flat cable. The audio distribution section is shielded by a metal plate that separates the electrical wiring. The fan out are assembled using SS cable (individually shielded multipair eurocable) and LK 150 FV (48 ch) or LK 85 FV (24 ch); the stereo Jacks are the metal version. LK connectors in rubber locking ring version are available on request.
