The EM-EDID-HD15-P is device used to emulate high resolution LCD when plugged into PC. Video signal passes through unit, however, EDID (plug-n-play information) is emulated and not passed
through device. It is tiny device that plugs to the VGA port of PC and you simply plug the cable to monitor to this unit. EM-EDID-HD15 is powered from PC itself, so in 99.9% of cases you don't need an external power supply (but if you are connecting to something non-standard that does not provide power on pin 9, we also offer the same device with small power supply).
