MADI-ISO-B is a digital audio isolation transformer that eliminates hum or noise present in Multichannel Audio Digital Interface (MADI) or AES10. This is caused by differences in ground potential up to 20 Volts or due to induced currents in long cable runs. Such interference results in degradation of bit timing in high speed digital signals and causes higher Bit Error Rates suffered from the Cliff Effect. This compact, standalone unit provide the much needed electrical isolation between the Input and Output.
