Challenge:
In 2016, after undergoing a significant renovation project, an Illinois university was in the market for modern yet technologically saavy workstations. A standard Marshall Furniture workstation design already occupied classrooms across campus but did not match the ambience of their new art studios spaces. The challenge was two fold: personalize the space and provide an advanced audio visual system to create a modern day classroom experience.
Solution:
A custom solution was provided thanks to Marshall Furniture’s unique, custom design process and a combined effort between Marshall and the University Facilities Management Design and Construction Department as well as the University AV department , a custom solution was provided . Through this process, Marshall was able to work efficiently and alter the current design by implementing the right furniture options as well as material and finish choices for the new studio spaces.
Result:
Marshall Furniture provided a one-of-a-kind , technologically saavy modern workstation. While architectural elements played a key role in the design, the audio visual system was never compromised.
